Donald Trump is set to campaign in west-central Iowa as part of his fall push with the state's leadoff caucuses now less than two months away. Trump is expected to headline a rally in Fort Dodge on Saturday afternoon. He's already visited Iowa five times since since last September as his campaign takes a more aggressive approach than in other early-voting states. Early polling of likely caucus participants indicates Trump has had a comfortable edge over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley. DeSantis stopped by his campaign’s new office in Urbandale on Saturday. He told reporters that Trump was making mistakes by attacking Iowa's governor, who recently endorse DeSantis, and by focusing on larger rallies.
