The Nation's Weather
The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, November 28, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Lake-effect snow will impact many areas around the Great
Lakes again today. Several fresh inches of snow will fall
with the greatest amounts, perhaps exceeding 1 foot, most
likely off Lake Ontario and come with the risk of road
closures. Dangerous snow squalls are likely to reach as far
to the southeast as western and northern Pennsylvania,
southeastern New York and interior New England. During any
snow squall, the visibility may drop to near zero in a
matter of a few seconds. At the same time, it will remain
windy, with wind gusts up to 30-40 mph possible across the
region. Much of the East will experience temperatures of
10-20 degrees Fahrenheit below the historical average for
late November. Much of the rest of the country will be dry
as high pressure sits overhead, bringing a mostly sunny sky.
