FXX sitcom You’re The Worst has been often celebrated for being the anti-romcom. And while the genre has seeped its way into sitcoms via shows like How I Met Your Mother, New Girl and The Mindy Project, the way Worst acts in opposition to them is much less “anti,” and more about refusing to put a veil over the sheer ugliness that comes along with loving someone.

Ben Affleck has a tattoo on his back. Reporters first noticed it in July, after someone photographed what appeared to be dragon tail peeking out from under his shirt. Could it be...? In December 1886, the city of Toronto saw the launch of a new publication exclusively aimed at helping people get hitched—The Anglo-American Matrimonial Journal. To be quite honest, when The Mindy Project moved to Hulu this season, the only reason I kept watching was because I had access to a Hulu Plus account. A higher barrier of entry would have likely stopped my viewing entirely, as I was almost completely turned off by the accidental pregnancy story line introduced in Season 3 that seemed to be pushing the limits of believability even for this show. I’d like to say that something about the segment was interesting or or surprising, but things immediately festered in the exact piping hot vat of delusion that I imagined it would.

Warning: if you’re someone who uses a period at the end of a sentence in a text, the person on the receiving end might think you’re full of bullshit, according to a new study. Researchers at Binghamton University found that text messages ending with a period are perceived to be less sincere compared to messages that leave them out.
