Bradford Bulls • Re: 1895 Cup: Dewsbury (A)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I found that a difficult game to call in the second. The amount of penalties and errors made it too stop-start.

I need to see the Scurr incident again before fully commenting but when I spoke to Eamon O’Carroll after the game he defended George Flanagan by saying that when he sees foul play taking place and it's missed by the officials it's human nature to defend one of your own.

I thought the main takeaway from the game was the defence and energy levels, especially after a week in... Читать дальше...

As a minimum, would it get us a tick in the “primacy of tenure” img box? Or do we have that already?

Bradford already tick that box.

I think realistically the only option to the club if staying at Odsal for the foreseeable is the main plan is to close the Rooley Avenue terracing and sell that part of the stadium off for retail and leisure with a smaller stand built in its place.

This would improve facilities and also lower the capacity... Читать дальше...

So Wigan rugby club go bust tomorrow. The insolvency practitioners go about realising their assets to pay off creditors. Is the stadium included in their statement of affairs? No. Guess why? Because they don’t own it.

Unlucky huge Jason

If that rules the DW Stadium out of contention, Headingley shouldn't be on the list either. "Leeds Rugby LTD" don't own the stadium. "Leeds Cricket, Football and Atheletic Company" own it.

Any RL club that... Читать дальше...

Leigh Leopards • Re: Do you agree with Garry Schofield?

Largely agree with Wysi and VL on this. I think Saints are done. They are still fairly strong but they win nothing this year. They will get steadily worse over the next few years. They were pedestrian when Roby was injured last year and i don't think Clarke makes up for that. They haven't addressed there real problem area at half back. No creativity and one up rugby. They finish top 4 but 4th for me. Leeds have same problem as last year. Good 17 but nothing beyond it. Some good results but ultimately poor finish. Читать дальше...

You are right about our numbers, like yours should have been white.

Don’t think we ran out of steam, Leigh changed all our first choice pack at about 30 minutes just before you scored. As far as I could tell we played the second half with just Hardaker, Moylan and Lam, from our first choice 13. I was a bit surprised that none of our starting pack came back on as this is our only warm up game.

Agreed glow, we never ran out of steam, our boys are fitter than a butchers dog. Читать дальше...

I think a lot of people bemoaning lack of structure last year will be pleased with the difference now with Ackers, Croft and Frawley.

Maybe with Tom NW, Ruan and Goudemand in reserve we might get away with our props this season.

From RS comments it sounds like Hudson won’t play first grade anytime soon.

Wakefield Trinity • Squad for York/Match day thread

Watched a good 20 minutes of the best free flowing R L football I have seen in years ,as in passing of ball at speed ,runners all over the place, and one of the best tackling displays for 80 minutes .Know it is in the Championship but you still got to deliver. And a lot of the talk on here as been about 10 \ 15 ? who shamed the name of our great club .Let them not get in the way of what looks like a season to remember

What a cracking little stadium York has, last time I saw it it was just a lump of concrete rising up from the ground, but hats off to them and yes Khlav that would be the icing on the cake at BV if that was the finished product

Looking at the tables, Whitehaven and Widnes are in with a shout of the 8th spot, espec Widnes as they play NW Crusaders, W'haven play Workingon.
