Powell can play half back/hooker/loose forward. So if you lost a three quarter (and you don't select Ratchford) you are moving Currie into the Centre position. I suppose you would then move Harrison to SR but ??? If you can't overpower opposition with 9 forwards I reckon having your 10th best forward subbing won't make much difference. I'd also argue that Ratchford would probably be more useful in most games than say Dudson or Holroyd.

Interesting, I know his current side was not sure about letting him go early as he's a top 30 player, so it depends if they see an opportunity to get someone off cap and strengthen elsewhere or along that line. Tbh we don't really need him this year, but it also would be good to get him over here and establish a relationship now before any move to SL, that is of course if all things go to plan this season.
He could forge relationships on and off the field while we're in the Championship, that's... Читать дальше...

I doubt any SL clubs pre season is as intense as the NRL but its still another damning comment about the state of the club, what exactly are they doing all week in training?

Yes, remember the stick Tetevano got for the multiple red cards. When he was signed, I don't remember anyone saying it was a poor choice, but in hindsight he was nowhere near the player we needed, or (Agar) thought we were going to get.

I’m well aware of his past but it’s his abilities next season that matter here.
Sign him in 2030 and your argument would still apply.
He’s a penalty machine and, as I said, it will be interesting to see how much he plays this season?
