Powell can play half back/hooker/loose forward. So if you lost a three quarter (and you don't select Ratchford) you are moving Currie into the Centre position. I suppose you would then move Harrison to SR but ??? If you can't overpower opposition with 9 forwards I reckon having your 10th best forward subbing won't make much difference. I'd also argue that Ratchford would probably be more useful in most games than say Dudson or Holroyd.

Really can`t give you an argument about Dudson. Читать дальше...

Which underlines what other fans said about clubs like us and them - these "improvements could have been done years ago and we chose to spend elsewhere" instead.

I would of course counter that we didn't own BV, so that kind of investment wasn't feasible, even if we had the dosh (and we didn't anyway). Читать дальше...

Certainly is for the first game. I suppose there is the option of opening for games with more away fans. I guess it depends on attendances.

Wakefield Trinity • Ky Rodwell

Interesting, I know his current side was not sure about letting him go early as he's a top 30 player, so it depends if they see an opportunity to get someone off cap and strengthen elsewhere or along that line. Tbh we don't really need him this year, but it also would be good to get him over here and establish a relationship now before any move to SL, that is of course if all things go to plan this season.
He could forge relationships on and off the field while we're in the Championship, that's... Читать дальше...

A bit behind on the videos but I believe Jerry is 3 months which is a shame as he looked ready to go. Opportunity for Franco or Croft.

Yes, remember the stick Tetevano got for the multiple red cards. When he was signed, I don't remember anyone saying it was a poor choice, but in hindsight he was nowhere near the player we needed, or (Agar) thought we were going to get.

I’m well aware of his past but it’s his abilities next season that matter here.

Sign him in 2030 and your argument would still apply.

He’s a penalty machine and, as I said, it will be interesting to see how much he plays this season?

He is a good signing for HKR and a leader on the pitch which we are missing
A penalty machine is better than our front rows who are sitting in the stands for several games having received red and yellow cards plus bans

I think you have nailed the starting 13.

This game would be an ideal chance to give Hayes a run-out from the bench, given the team Hull are going to select.

Having him available to play, puts the pressure on Drinkwater to get involved more to keep Hayes out of the team. Читать дальше...

That can't happen.

£12.2m is the amount stated in the S106. That's the amount that has to be paid to WMDC for distribution to the WR site.

It is in no way negotiable.

In fact, the longer it goes on, the less £12.2m will get them (we had the same issue with the rising materials costs too). Читать дальше...
