Wakefield Trinity • Red card Hull Fc-Warrington

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

What an absolute joke. 100% an accident. Glad we are in the championship where there's no replays or reviews by video refs.

The Virtual Terrace • That Red Card

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

What an absolute joke. Yet Thewlis makes direct contact with the head to stop that try and it's missed by both the ref and video ref.

The Virtual Terrace • World club game 2024, mixed rules ?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Looking forward to this match, however, is the game to be hybrid rules ,ie, NRL & SL, or international test game rules, & is the Aussies playing to " no direct contact to the head "
Usually a declaration is made prior to the game. But, sometimes arguments arise after an issue/occur ance after the game which lets the supporters know after event/s etc

Wakefield Trinity • Re: Trin -v- Hunslet ARLFC

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I'd have thought Doyle would have been part of the squad unless he's one of those with a knock but haven't heard anything.

I did like the look of that new young FB Noah Booth, good under the high ball, and decent coming out of his own end with a bit of pace and a step, he's quite tall and lanky, so he has a good physique to grow into moving forward. Another promising young player.

It's practically a full-strength side so we're not messing around, minus Lino, so no slight on Hunslet and nothing to be worried about. Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • RD 2 | Hull KR (A)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Exactly, it is early days in this season.
And the 2 results we've had are irrelevant tbh.

But it's the performances that are still disappointing.
I don't see a plan, a structure, any cohesion or any identity.
Other teams just look better coached and organised than us.
RS has a lot of work to do on the coaching front.

If we finish outside the top 6, the excuse of "well, he's had to do a lot of rebuilding in the background" is just not acceptable.
Nonsense.
He's been... Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Squad for Hull.

What annoys me about Philbin is the way he often spins round when he hits the defensive line, pretty much guaranteeing that he's not going to break it. I wish he'd just run hard, straight and facing forwards!

If he offloaded when doing so it wouldn't be so bad!

Bradford Bulls • Very lucky

To all the Bradford fans that said there was no foul play during the game.
What a difference a red card would have made.

Surely your seats should've been held for you until after a particular deadline date had passed (and announced by the club) ?

I knew when renewing my ST's for this season that I had until the 7th December to renew. After that point they would be open for someone else to buy.

They were, it's just they were almost too well held. Because i'd initially selected the seats for renewal and not finished the original session they remained "locked". When I... Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • 2024 | Disciplinary

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Jack Burton wrote:

Watts has a terrible disciplinary record and he challenged the charge, and the grading. Pele pleaded guilty and doesn't have a bad disciplinary record (over here, at least). So the punishments given were never going to be identical.

I’m not sure that Pele gets a reduced penalty because he’s just landed on these shores. It’s a bit like saying a home grown criminal that’s racked up a couple of previous convictions deserves a tougher sentence than an immigrant... Читать дальше...

They're either not fit or aren't training hard enough if they can't get in a 21 man squad when only there's only 19 players available!

I wouldn't have thought there was any room in today's regime for a player not training hard enough.
Just can't see that.

Just on the Thompson HIA in this game, am I right in thinking that if he fails another one within a certain timeframe he has to sit out three months (ala Morgan Gannon at Leeds)?

Bradford Bulls • Rusling - Cornwall

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Seen it's been announced that the Cornwall Scrum Half has served a 3 month ban for testing positive for having a good time in June. He's now free to play as his suspension has exceeded the length of the ban.

When did the bans change? I'm not condoning banning players for having a good time at all but it used to be 3 years didn't it?
