I think one of our targeted games was meant to be Cas. Don't see that happening after tonight's game.
It's going to be a fun season.

No wonder KR got rid of Abdul. He looks more like a darts player than an RL player.

Wigan Warriors • Cas Away

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Whilst i agree with the Watts decision and would have also understood if Smith went too i really think this season could be the last as a RL supporter. I just can't see myself enjoying it next season. I will see how it goes but i can see myself switching off after a few games and never switching back on. We can thank the thug Bobby Goulding and his mates for that one.

I loathe what’s happened to our game over the last 5 years.

That’s never a red for me that.

They threw a lot at us and barring that daft bounce we'd have held them out for the entire half. Shame! But, not a bad showing. Need to use our pace as their big boys tire.

Has anyone ordered/received their shirts yet? I'm loathe to spend hundreds of dollars until I know what it's going to look like.

One of these statements is untrue.
The season has started.
I have received my shirt.

Friday night against a team that brings ‘no’ fans yet we’re on target for biggest crowd for years. Great news but has aNyone got any idea how this has happened? Have we been giving them away with happy meals at the local McDonalds.

Huddersfield Giants • Leroy

I thought he was outstanding last night. Seemed to be involved in every tackle and carried the ball so often too. Could be an excellent loose forward. Really impressed with Munchie too.

Went to the first half of this. Impressed with the performance against what was a far bigger but seemingly less fit Salford side. Pity there were no team sheets, no announcer and I still don’t know a final score. Bit poor really from the club.

Wire were winning 40pts to 12pts when I left the ground with about 5 minutes to go.

Lindop could well be in at centre if ratch and thewlis are unfit. I'm looking forward to seeing how we go, I expect we will be a bit NRL to be honest. Make ground with 1 up carries early in the tackle count and play a bit more expansive when we get in the opposition half. We will need to be a lot more resilient than we have been in recent years for that to work.

I don't think we will be too pretty to watch, but so long as its effective I don't really care after the last few seasons we've endured. Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Re: TV games (not Wire)

I was flicking between leeds and Leigh. Bearing in mind all teams will be “ring rusty” (no, don’t go there) I thought both seemed ok. Salford were much better than I expected, Leeds can consider themselves lucky to have won that one and Smith is going to be worrying about his expensively assembled recruits but will be hoping they gel soon. Huddersfield seem to have some “togetherness” which they sorely lacked last season and Leigh will be wondering what might have been if not for ill discipline.

Cant say im impressed with what i have seen so far on the pitch under his leadership.
If he cant solve the on field indiscipine then you have to wonder what goes on behind the scenes.
If the new culture within the club is what we all witnessed last night then he certainly is not the right man for the job.

Wigan Warriors • Sky Commentary Team Shake Up

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Who’s watching on bbc today and who’s watching on sky? I’m interested in watching it on bbc to see who’s commentating. Happy with the shake up. Others don’t like Wilkins but I honestly don’t mind him think he makes some good comment sometimes says stuff to be controversial. Tomkins is a natural as well as amour. Like Carney and Jenna. I was flicking between all three last night and I think it was Terry who was commentating on the saints game didn’t listen to it all but regardless hope the get shut and get some better in. Huddersfield Giants • Attention Sky Sports

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Unfortunately could not get to our game last night so settled down at home for a rugby fest. Watched our game and recorded the other two to watch later. How disappointing was it then those scores came up during our game.
Note to Sky Sports: I would like to watch the recorded games without knowing the score beforehand.
Anyone else feeling the same?
