Diablo franchise is in a tense state as of now

Blizzard has tried to reassure gamers about the microtransactions of Diablo 4 however, we're not able to know for sure how it will all work until the game has been officially out.

Diablo 4 currently lacks a confirmed release date, although it's expected to drop at some point during the first half of 2023. It seems like Diablo 4 fans who are eager to know when they'll get to play Diablo 4 should be sure that they tune in to The Game Awards in December.

Diablo 4's world can allow players to take a break and resume the story whenever they want, but while this will "allow for non-linearity", the story will include "a beginning, middle, and an end".

Interview with IGN, Diablo 4 director Joe Shely and general manager Rod Fergusson opened up on the exciting new game to offer fans of the series, as giving a glimpse into how the game's story mechanics will differ from previous Diablo games that came before it.
